Bridge

The Amarillo Montessori Academy Bridge program is designed to support children as they prepare for Pre-Kindergarten.  Bridge children are gently guided toward appropriate behaviors in a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. In these classes students are guided towards self-control, potty training and respecting others personal space/work. In the Montessori Bridge environment, children develop feelings of support, security, and self-esteem. Bridge offers young students a daily consistency and structure that creates a balance between freedom and limits. 

Our Bridge classes also begin to place an intentional focus on the Montessori Method. In these classrooms students begin participating in daily Mat Work and learn how to care for  their learning spaces, classroom materials and supplies.
