Once students reach our Bridge Program, they begin participating in classes at our campus Art Studio. These weekly classes are guided by our talented Art Teacher, Ms. Kelsey. Every AMA art lesson is intentionally planned to be engaging and developmentally appropriate for young artists. AMA art classes allow students the opportunity to explore a variety of art materials, mediums, styles and techniques. In addition, students are introduced to both classical and contemporary artists.
In the Montessori art environment, we offer open-ended art activities that enable children to explore and develop their creativity. When it comes to art, it is the process, not the product that is important to the child. With this in mind Amarillo Montessori Academy has intentionally curated a child-friendly art space that is welcoming, inclusive and aesthetically beautiful.
